Hi, my father was born in Canada and lives , now, in Italy. So, I shoul be Canadian by descent and I'm applying for my certificate of citizenship. Since I'd like to go and study in Canada, am I considered an international student or what ?
Thanks for all the information you can give me :)

You will be an international student until your citizenship is confirmed. This means that you will need a study permit to study in Canada and will also pay foreign student fees (which are much higher than domestic student fees). You should probably wait to start your studies until you have been confirmed as a citizen.

Since the course he wants to go is a course in ESL that lasts four months he probably doesn't need a study permit, doesn't he ? and once there can he work on campus, since he is going to live in the campus where he is going to study ? Thanks

If the course is six months or less - then no, he doesn't need a study permit.

No - he can't work on campus. He can only work on campus if he's here for a course that is more than six months and has a valid study permit.

Hi I really want to study medicine in canada, I wanted to be a medical Doctor. I finished Bachelor of Science in Nursing, passed the board exam here in the Philippines and took a master's degree as well. Will Universities/Colleges in Canada credit my bachelor's degree and let me proceed to medicine proper?

BTW, my family and I will be migrating soon as permanent residents.

Thanks and god bless!
