My name is Maria, and I live in Brazil. I was wondering if there's any possibility I can work and study at the same time in Canada. I wanna work to pay for college.

You can work an on campus job (job at the college or university) as soon as you arrive and start your studies. Depending on what school you decide to attend, you may qualify for an off campus work permit once you've completed six months of full time studies. You are limited to working 20 hours a week with off campus work permits.

Do not expect the money you earn working to cover your living or school expenses.

So there's no way of living in Canada if I have no one in Brazil to pay for my expenses?
Or is there a way to work there even though I'm not highly qualified? I'm 18 and just got out of school, ANY chance I could live there and pay for my expenses without depending on someone?

1. Very unlikely. To obtain a study permit, you are going to have to show the following funds. First year tuition, about $10K-$12K for University, $10K living expenses for the 1st year and $2K for travel. Unless you can demonstrate, around $23K in funds, then you will not get a study permit.

I knew I wouldn't be able to get a study permit, I meant a Work Permit. Any chance I could work there, even though I'm not qualified?

If you want a work permit - you will first need to find an employer who is willing to offer you a job in Canada. That employer will then have to obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion (LMO). As part of this process, the employer will have to prove that they advertised the job and were unable to find a Canadian to hire for the role.

So the first step is finding an employer who is willing to hire you. The second step is for that employer to apply for an obtain an approved LMO.
