Study visa with gap

I am recently selected from University based in Nova Scotia, Canada for 2 year master program.

I will apply study visa once lock down lifts in India. Currently I am looking for some expert advise related to my gap from August 2018.

I literally didn't do anything professionally in last almost two years and now don't understand how to cover up my gap period during visa application.

If anyone can suggest how to proceed further with my visa application, I will be really obliged.
