Hello,

Here is a summary of my frustrating situation, any advice as to how to proceed is appreciated.
- I have received a letter of acceptance from Fanshawe College for a PG cert, which is a two-year program. in electronics and embedded systems development.
- I have a bachelor's in electrical engineering(graduated in 2021).
- I am working in Saudi Arabia(as a non-Saudi) as a service engineer for medical devices(two years of experience).
- I have an IELTS score of 8/9.
- my bank account with around 15k CAD, and I also attached my father's bank account as a sponsor which has around 65k CAD.
- I have paid 1 year's tuition fees(around 18k CAD).

With the mentioned points, I have applied twice for a study Visa and got rejected twice. Both times they were not convinced that I will be leaving Canada after the program.

First rejection reasons:
1-immigration status outside your country of nationality or habitual residence.
2- current employment situation does not show that you are financially established in your country of residence
3- you do not have significant family ties outside Canada.

The second time I applied, I tried to convince them in my SOP that I will leave Canada. In addition, explained thoroughly my immigration status, my current employment situation(how it would be advantageous to me to get the certificate so I can increase my salary once I come back), and my family ties outside Canada.
Unfortunately, I got rejected a second time.
Second rejection reasons:
1- immigration status outside your country of nationality
2- limited employment in your country of residence.
3- significant ties outside Canada.

I understand that getting accepted outside my country of citizenship is hard, however, I believe that it should not be impossible given my qualifications. Apologies for the long post, any advice would be appreciated.

Hey

I know, it´s frustrating. I´m applying for 2 time for a Study Visa.

First, You need to take your GCKey Notes, they will help to understand what is really going on.

Hey

Yes, i too got refused twice for student visa stating i wont return back to my home country after completion of my studies in canada. Also they weren't convinced about my ties back home.

Trying different province with different upgraded program this time.

Applicant should demonstrate strong ties to home country. In this case, the applicant working in foreign country clearly demonstrates weaker ties with home country. I don’t visa officer will let this go easily unless the applicant shows stronger ties to home country in some other way.
