I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/

leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.
• Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of: your qualifications, previous

future prospects and plans

So sorry for whats happened. Could you share your timeline ?

As in when did you apply and gave in biometrics and when did you receive a decision. Also try to mention a date when you received any correspondence from ircc

How old are you? Length of program?Past education and grades? IELTS? Current job? How does the program build on your education and show career advancement to justify costs? You didn’t show career plans in home country.

Your past grades or IELTS may too low. IRCC figures you will fail the program.

Did you submit an SOP (statement of purpose)? Do not re apply again right away it is a waste of time and money. Get refusal notes and then see how you can fix those issues on your next available application. or evaluate other countries that might be a better option for your future study plans.

Why would you want to take part in a 2 year diploma in computer science when youve already graduated from a 4 year program ?

You’ve also had work experience to offset any academic shortcomings you had in school. This transition doesn’t make any sense to me and definitely could not have to a visa officer. This was a guaranteed rejection.

Based off your profile id encourage you to apply for Express entry right away you have the needed years of work experience along with the adequate education that would qualify you. You should have done more research into canada and it’s immigration paths before you wasted your time.

You have a degree with poor grades and applying for a diploma in the same field. Was it a PG diploma? Makes no sense to pay all that money for a program that is in a college so below a degree. Can’t justify costs. IRCC is concerned you would not be able to pass your courses with your grades. Do you have all 6s in each band?
