Study visa after FSWP

Hello friends
I have a doubt and have been confused for a while.If you can help me i would be grateful.I have applied for FSWP 2014 on 20/05/2014 under 3112 NOC.I also have an offer from an Institute from Canada in a course which i would luv to study.Can i apply for student visa now? I need to decide as i have to confirm my offer letter by paying some tuition fees.My brother is in Canada.Will it go against me to prove my ties back home?

Yes - you can certainly apply for a study permit.

The fact that you have a brother in Canada and have applied for PR may work against you. However you can certainly try.

as you have applied for FSWP you can wait for its result as it seems within short time they will start sending PERs and as a canadian you need to pay less tution fees, its my suggestion

ofcourse you can apply for student visa and though chances are less nothing to loose, it will not impact your current application
