Hey, I graduated from High School in 2017, and I want to go to Canada for my 2-year diploma program. I was just worried that would I qualify for the Study permit of Canada or not because my High School grades were really poor, but I've done really good in my IELTS(According to me, though.)? These are my credentials:

10th: 52%
12: 58%
IELTS: 7 (R:7, L:7, S:7, W:7)

I have not applied to colleges yet, will do as soon as possible. So Wish me luck in everything and please answer my question. :)

Regards and Best Wishes. :)

Hi few diploma courses need work experience as you don't have a bachelor's degree so please do your research about all colleges and then start applying

Think you are getting confused there are basic college diplomas and postgraduate diplomas. The computer courses are very competitive so not sure if your marks will be good enough. Marks matter more than IELTS for admission. You can always do a degree in your home country and pursue further education when your marks are stronger.

Someone will take you, most colleges are just money making schemes. Just apply to a wide variety of schools.

Probably agree. When paying so much money I would want an education that will teach me well enough to get a job. Some schools seem questionable.

And what about the study permit, is it possible to get a Study permit with my High school grades? I mean what do you think?

Not impossible but it will be a concern. Concerns will be that you won't succeed in the post-secondary courses especially in a new environment.

No, the thing is I couldn't do well in high school due to some valid reasons, but the situation won't be the same in Canada, and I can do 10000% better there because I'm really Passionate about Computer Programming so it will be nothing but fun for me. So, will I get a Study permit or not? I mean, do you know someone who got the Permit with bad Grades and all that?

You should explain the reason for your lower marks in your SOP. Yes it is possible to get permit with your marks. I'm not CIC that's the most I can say.
