Study Permit without enroll a school.

Hello,

I am an international student in Nova Scotia.

I got a study permit in Canada in March 2015 (Exp. August 2017) by accepting a college in Nova Scotia.
However, I decided to go to another university in NS because a professor at the univ. gave me a conditional admission so I dropped the college in Sept. 2015.
But then, the university gave me a rejection letter so I couldn't make it so I applied another college in NS and I got accepted recently, and the school will start in Sept. 2016.

The thing that I am worried about is, although I have study permit from March 2015, I haven't started any school yet, and until Sept. 2016, I will not study at any school.
I would like to know is that alright that I stay in Canada in this status?
Or, should I do something before Sept. 2016?
Also, I'm planning to visit my country next month, so would that be alright? or should I stay in Canada to keep my study permit safe?

I have asked this issue to many people but nobody gave me an answer..
If someone knows about this issue well, please help me out.

Thank you so much in advance.

Your current study permit is actually no longer valid. It was automatically canceled once you stopped attending school for over 90 days.

To avoid CIC thinking you are abusing the study permit system, I would leave Canada now and remain in your home country until your new study permit is approved.

Hope you're not working.
