Greetings people!
As I received today my study permit/visa, here are few tips/experiences.
I submitted my app (from Bosnia) via DHL to Vienna (because, according to CHC website, they are way too faster than Belgrade embassy) around May 13th.
I received my medicals letter week later (via ordinary postal service), and did my medicals via IOM. After that, I received my permit today, August 15th (stamped Aug 08th), again via IOM (they call you to take your envelope). Visa is multiple-entrance, expiring on exact date that was stated on my invitation letter from university.
Few tips:
1. Translate everything. I translated even the bank transcripts, and all translations I did were translated via official court translator.
2. Tip from this forum: if unsure during the forms completing, simply print another page where you can explain your serious stuff in the details.
Few considerations:
1. Two weeks processing for Vienna embassy is just approximate, and in my case inaccurate. If you're planning to apply, be very careful
2. Sometimes, medicals could stuck in London (that was my case) for a month.
Hope somebody will find this helpful
Ah, and does anybody know how long it takes to get study permit on the border? I am planning to go to Vancouver via Montreal, and I don't want to miss plane
