Study permit under SDS

Hi everyone, my wife and I will be applying for study permit and dependent visa under SDS.

Currently my wife (student) resides in Pakistan and I am living in uae, can we apply visas under sds? As I read one must be staying/resident in Pakistan to apply under sds.

if u have uae resident then u cannot apply under Pakistan SDS programe.i saw many girls and children.who withdraw uae resedance to apply under sds .

My wife does not have uae residence, she lives in Pakistan and I live in UAE as I am doing a job here.
My wife is the student and i will be dependent, in this case can we apply under sds?
