STUDY PERMIT, TRV AND PGWP

Hi all,

I am sure this has been discussed several times but just to double check.

I am an international graduate ( masters) student in Canada. I defended my thesis on 06- Jun-17 and my committee suggested few corrections before submitting to the university. That means once I made all corrections I am done with my masters ( probably this month end). After submission of my thesis I want to visit India for a 2-month visit. I have my study permit valid for 2019 but my TRV expired. What are my options?

You have to renew your TRV if not once you travel to India you wont be ale to come back to Canada

TRV takes few days to process,

Hi,

Thanks for your response but for TRV application I am required to submit enrollment for next term. Obviously, I am not going enroll my next term. Will this be a problem?

TRV Requires only Valid Study Permit

The validity of your student permit is valid upon the agreed date (can be found on your permit) or 90 days when you finish your course.
Since you are done, your SP will only be valid for 90 days.
You know you should not over go beyond your authorized stay.
