Study Permit Renewal

Hi,

Has any Pakistani student has renewed their Study permit from within Canada? How long does it take and which documents we need to submit with application?

A person had misguided me and now I have 40 days left in my study permit and I am not sure what to do...

Still you can apply.. IF you will apply online the processing time is around 55-60 days. You will be on implies status. No need to worry.
You would need enrollment letter from your college, copy of current study permit, bank statement , scanned copy of passport and Digital photo and also attach your transcripts.
if you are thinking to apply online, you will get a checklist of documents when you would create your account on cic.

Thank you for the information. I am just worried since I need to apply for visa also and it's like going through whole process.

but u should apply without any delay

You can apply till expiry date so no issue there, you should go see your schools international advisor if you are unsure about anything and to make sure you have the proper documents.

Hi guys,

Can I ask for help?
I'm currently on my 2nd semester. My student visa started last September 2018 and will supposed to end on September 2019. However, my program is only for 2 semesters (4months each) so it will end this coming April 2018.
Now, I'm planning to extend my study permit. Is it okay if i can continue my study on september 2019 to get the 3 years PGWP or i should continue my study right after the end of my 1st program (April 2018).
