Hi,
I have submitted a study permit application for my Bachelor's degree in UFV Abbotsford, B.C. It was refused stating that
  • You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.
  • The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
I'm 22 years old from Bangladesh. I graduated from college in 2020, and after that, I did 2 internships for 2 years (but my agent only put info about my 1st internship)
PROFILE:
IELTS: 7.5 (No band less than 7)
SSC(2018) : 4.61
HSC(2020) : 4.84
Institute: University of The Fraser Valley
Program: Bachelor of Computer Science
Session: Fall 2023
Liquid funds: 66k CAD
Properties: 100k CAD
Sponsor: Father

I would greatly appreciate it if you guys give me some tips on how can I strengthen my profile to get my study permit accepted.

Order GCMS notes. What are your ties to return as you are single and mobile? How did you show the opportunities for jobs and higher pay above and beyond your diploma and internships?

I ordered my GCMS a week ago.
In my SOP I wrote about building an IT farm when I come back from Canada, where I'll focus on creating apps, systems, and software for the emerging IT sector of my home country.
Also, I only showed my father's lands as my fixed assets which I don't think is that much because my father invested most of his money in his business. Do you think I should also add the worth of my father's business in the application as well to strengthen my country ties?

IT farm?? So if building your own business in your home country they why do you need to come to Canada. You can start your business now without studying in Canada. It is your business so not a strong reason to return because the business doesn’t exist. Your father’s lands are not your lands so not a tie. Your father’s business is not your tie.

My main goal was to get a job as a software engineer in a good company, work there for a few years until I got the appropriate experience, and then work on my business. I guess I shouldn't have left out this part in my SOP. And again the computer science programs in my country's universities are not good so I feel like I wouldn't get the knowledge I want.
that's why I chose Canada as my study destination.
Can you please tell me how can I fix these dilemmas when I reapply for my visa?

Once you have GCMS notes then you will have a better understanding for what ties they are looking for. At this time you have not ties to show as your father’s business and properties are no reason for return. If the program is three years then you need a clear explanation of why you need to study in Canada, and what better opportunities you will have to justify the costs. If you have a diploma, you show how much more you will make with a degree than current diploma. So if a Canadian program costs around $75k then explain the higher salary you will make.

The other big issue will be paying for degree. 66k will not be enough to pay for your degree and will also wipe out all your family’s savings. Tuition is around 16k for 2 semesters which is very low for an international school but probably due to the fact that is a relatively new unknown in most of Canada university.cost of living will easily be 20k/yr. The figures don’t add up for 4 years unless your father liquidated all of his assets.
