Hey, i am from Ethiopia. My application is taking so long almost four month.do know other Ethiopian who receive decision recently???

I applied in July to Lethbridge uni
Was it SDS or non SDS, also did they mention any thing abt ur EE profile.
May i know abt ur family detaila in h9me country and also is ur medical cleared???

Thanks in advance
Kessy

It is non SDS, I passed my medical, they only mentioned that I will not leave the country after I graduate,

my question is who has experience or knowledge about the second attempt of a student visa, not about what is correct or wrong. What do you think the majority of students do when they graduate from their studies in Canada?

Many want to stay permanently. As you have family here and (let's face it) Canada is a much better place to live than Ethiopia, IRCC clearly suspects you have no intent to leave the country after studying, which is a requirement for a study permit or any other temporary status.

If you did not complete your studies, would you return home? There is no indication of that

If you enter Canada and not show up for classes, would you return home? There is no indication of that.

If you run out of money during your studies and cannot continue, would you return home? There is no indication of that?

If you fall very sick or get into an accident and have to drop out of school, would you return home? There is no indication of that.

Of course when you complete your studies, you are welcomed to apply for a work permit, what if you don't get one or you don't qualify for a work permit? Would you return home? There is no indication of that.

Yes of course the majority of students who completed their studies AND got their work permits can stay in Canada, but if you don't? How would the visa officer be satisfied that you will leave Canada after your temporary stay?

Hi friends, I have received a student visa refusal yesterday. It states that the visa officer is not satisfied that I will leave Canada after I graduate. I have family ties in Canada and I am applying to a second-degree program. I also have en EE profile. I am going to reapply and I want to learn from your experience and knowledge about this situation. Have you received or do you know someone who received approval for the second time after a visa rejection?
Hi, im sorry to hear about your refusal , but can i ask how did you know you were refused? did they send you email ? or you requested for gcms notes?
