Hello everybody,
Today, after much anticipation and nervous waiting i received a refusal letter from IRCC.
Profile:
Male
Age: 32
Country: Bangladesh
Program: MBA

Grounds for refusal:
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/
section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will
leave Canada, based on the following factors:
1. The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.
2. Pursuant to paragraph 220(a) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and
available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or
program of studies that you intend to pursue.
3. Pursuant to paragraph 220(b) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and
available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and any family
members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study.

I find the lack of funding for a reason odd since I showed over $100,000 in my fathers account (Entire Tuition + Living cost being 75,000).
I submitted a letter showing his willingness to sponsor me as well. What am i doing wrong?

Also anybody know what they mean by the first reason? is the deatils in my application not consistent because of problems with the fund? Or is there another reason.

The first reason could mean a lot of things, you should request GCMS notes to see in detail what the VO commented when he refused your application.

Regarding the second and third reason, CAD 100,000 should be more than enough. Something is weird here... Did you submit bank statements for four months with no large amounts being deposited into or out of the account? Was the money in one single account? Again, maybe GCMS notes can shed more light.

Is the savings liquid or in FD? Are you only counting 10k for living expenses?
