Hi i came to canada on march 19 2025 for my pilot training and just after coming here i got to know that my flight is not that productive and directly i changed my school to an another one and and applied for a school change under study permit extension for a new study permit on April 1st and i waited for a month for their response and gave a call to the ircc customer service and got a confirmation from them that as i'm on a applied status i can start my training in the new school( even i have the call recording )but whereas i got an refusal on september 21st stating that starting your training in the new school is against the law without have a new study permit and you have violated it that's the reason your new study permit is refused
I would like to know what can i do next and
my questions are
1.how many days i can stay in canada as there is not timeline mentioned on my refusal letter?
2. is my previous study permit still valid
3. should i have to go back to india and apply for a new study permit
4. how many days it takes if i do an application from canada .

You were not allowed to change schools and start at the other school without approval so were in violation. Call centre agents regularly give poor advice and are not IRCC officers. You didn't even study at the school on your permit if you changed after 10 days. Assume you stopped studying and working.

1. Usually ASAP. What does your letter say?
2. Ask IRCC because you never really studied at the school on your permit and you left almost 6 months ago so study permit should have been cancelled. If valid, you return and study at school on your permit.
3. If cancelled you are out of status in Canada. You could apply in Canada only if you can retain current status and reapply. Your choice to return to India but expect that your new study permit may be refused as you are in violation of your first permit.
4. 8-10 weeks but getting approval will be difficult.

Get a lawyer.
