Hello all!
So I'm in a bit of a conundrum regarding applying for a Canadian Study Permit.

So I recently applied for a 1 year post-graduate diploma program in Canada (for January 2023) and I was accepted. I paid the 1st Semester fees ($7900CAD) and I have the 2nd semester tuition in my account. Currently I'm saving up for the $10k proof of funds.
I am a contracted employee at my job in my country so that's where the money is coming from.

The problem is:
I plan on applying for the permit in August 2022 for a program that starts in January 2023, and in October, as per my job contract, I will be receiving a certain amount of money that'll provide me (coupled with Salaries from now to October) with the amount needed for living expenses. I'll also be paid salaries up to December 2022.

How do I reflect money that is not there as yet as proof of living expenses? Would a letter from my Organisation that I work for stating that I'll be paid xxxx amount suffice?

I will also be staying with a relative for the year who said she'll take care of accommodation and food until my program is done and I go back home. Not sure if that affects the required living expenses in any way.

Basically what I'm asking is:
When I apply for the study permit in August, I'll still be paid September to December salaries that will not be reflected in my account as it is future money.

How do I go about proving these funds for a study permit?

You need to already have the money in your account. IRCC won't consider future payments.

Do you think if I apply in mid October I'll get it in time for January 2023? Since October is when I'll get the 10k+

I don't know. But I don't think you have any choice but to wait until you have the required funds in your account.

IRCC will only consider it money when it is really your money. Not future money.
Also, I doubt even if you have the 10K CAD right now, it will be enough.

After minus your 2nd semester study fees, you wun have much left for your living expenses / rent for your remaining study duration, much less say afford an air ticket back to your home country after your studies is over.
