I submitted my study permit application and on my portal it shows: ‘Final decision dated April 8, 2026: Your application is in progress.’ My upfront medical is marked as passed. I also see that eligibility review is still under review and background check is still processing. Could someone clarify what this status means? Does the ‘final decision’ date indicate that a decision has already been made, or is it just part of the processing timeline?
