hoping someone can give me a straight answer- i'm an Australian travelling to Canada on exchange for semester 1 in 2016. As I am aware i do not need a student visa because i am studying for less than 6 months. But i was wondering what i need to do to stay in Canada as a tourist past the end of my 6months as a student visitor, i'm planning to go to the USA and come back through to Canada. Will i just need a valid ETA and be able to prove that i have a valid reason for re entry or do i need to something else?
