Study Permit (PGWP)

I got a LOA from a college for an 8-month program. However, the duration in the letter is for one whole year. When I apply for PGWP afterwards, would anyone know what the validity length will be?

I'm also opting to go for PR once the study permit is no longer valid. Would this be long enough to be able to process the necessary documents?

Go for another 1 year course to get 3 year pgwp
