I may have to drop out from the grad program in which I am registered as international student. I am from a visa exempt country. Let's say I will drop at the beginning of May. I would have to go back on my country and come back a couple of times during the summer, before leaving permanently in September. Am I right saying that once I go (if it is before the 90 days allowed for changing status after the drop out) when I come back I will still be a study permit holder and then the second time, if it is expired, I can eventually get a visitor status on the airport? Also, I already have the eTA, should I apply for a new one once my student status is not valid anymore? Thanks in advance
