Hello all. After successfully completing my immigration at the POE, the officer couldn't issue my Study Permit letter due to a server issue. She informed it will be mailed by a courier service to a Permanent Address. She didn't allow me to use my quarantine Airbnb so i had to give a friend's address in Toronto but i am gonna be in Winnipeg.
Is this normal and safe? My friend will send me the permit as soon as he receives it but are there any cases where it doesn't come or is lost? What should I do if it is lost/damaged in transit?
