Background check started: probably 06/06/2022
Eligibility review started: 19/08/2022 probably
Medical request: 19/08/2022
Medical done and submitted to IRCC by the clinic: 22/08/2022

Medical results haven’t been updated on my profile yet

When can I expect a decision?

PPR: August 17, 2022

So sorry to hear that! You should order the notes and see the reason of the refusal in more details to address the rejection correctly in your next application.

Have you paid fees? If not, maybe it would be best to defer so that you do not have to pay for the first term without a decision from IRCC.

If you haven't paid, maybe explain your case to your DLI and ask them for an extension. Maybe they give you a couple of weeks more. Take into consideration that your DLI is also accepting applications for your program's next intake so ask them about availability, it may be full for international students or they even might not have an open intake for January at all.
