I got my study permit for Canada on 12 th September from the London office. But my classes for fall term 2009 started on 2nd September and my university have let me know that any late arrival after 8th September will require a defferal to january 2010 (winter term). As I got my study permit on 12th september so, I had no other choice but to take a defferal to January 2010.

So, my question is it going to cause any problem at my port of entry when I will arrive in Canada in January 2010 ? Do, I have to take any action like - let the high commission know about this defferal or do I have to get any letters from my university ? I have already got email from my department about this defferal. Is it gonna be enough, if I show this email at my port of entry to the immigration officer? or will I have get any formal letter from the university?

So, I am a bit worried about this matter now. if anyone can answer i will be grateful
