Hey everyone.
This question might be made couple times but I am now in the process of getting a study permit.

I'll be studying in Quebec which means I need the CAQ too. So here are my questions. I am really scared that I will get denied if I do a wrong step on the application so it's better if I ask people who already have been through this.

I am a student from Italy/Germany and my dream finally came true to study for three years in Canada. I don't want to get denied it would be a real bummer. Maybe someone from Europe who's already studied there or is studying there can help me with this procedure.

1. Should I apply first for the CAQ before applying for the study permit?

My biggest concern is the financial part.
1. What is the amount I have to write in the "tuition" part? For one year or the entire three years?
2. How much should I write in "room and board"? Are these the living expenses? Like for example is 12000 CAD sufficient for the room and board?
3. In "others" what is meant by others? Like leisure money? Is it necessary to fill out this part?
4. And the last one of course "funds available for my stay". How explicit do they want it? What should I write there if they already asked for tuition room and board? Is it the funds for one year or the entire year altogether?
5. What do you show them? My father pays everything for me. So what do I add to show them my financial support: the bank account of my father? And should the amount be sufficient for one year for now? Or for every year?

Some of you showed property stuff I don't even know what it is. Is it like our houses and the company he owns? I have no clue what you all meant by that. Please clarify more, would be really appreciated.

Plus some of you got problems that they got denied because they weren't sure that you would leave the country after the studies.
How can you show them that you will leave the country after the studies? How do you convince them? Is there any special thing to do so they see that you'll leave after?
I don't want to get denied for these things. I'd like to apply as clear and good as possible.

Thanks a lot!

1. Yes, you need a CAQ first and it's valid for 48 months.
2. It has to be minimum CAD 12,183 (2016 rate).
3. Minimum 500, a settlement cost initially.
4. Add 2 and 3. If you have more than that, put off that amount.
5. Bank statement + declaration of financial support form. One year proof is enough.
