"Details of Intended Study in Canada" section of IMM-1294 will not be required, once you enter the name of school and the level of study, primary school, the "Details" selection will be blanked out. All questions on the form with an asterix (*) are mandatory, you won't be able to validate the form otherwise.

Thanks for responding. We haven't decided the school yet so can i put 'To be determined' under Name of School ?

I doubt that that is acceptable. You have to have approval from the school or the District school board when talking about primary/secondary school and get a "Letter of Acceptance" from them. As you can see in the next Q's it asks for the price of tuition etc. which will be in the LOA. I don't think there is any point in submitting an app without this info.

What is your status in Canada, studying, working etc.?

I am on closed work permit and going to apply for open work permit for wife and study permit for my kids. I will check with the District school board. Thanks again for your response.
