Hi,
I finished high school and university in Edmonton. I'm on post graduate work permit and work full time. I'm planning to take CPA PEP program (Professional Education Program). The length of the program is minimum 30 months with total of 6 modules, each modules is 8 weeks long and mostly self study based. And I don't have to finish all 6 modules within 30 months.
So I looked on CIC website, it says "You do not need a study permit if you plan to take a course or program in Canada that lasts six months or less. You must complete the course or program within the period authorized for your stay in Canada." <--Based on this, is that mean I don't need a study permit to do the CPA program?
Also I found that on CIC website under Designated Learning institutions list, CPA PEP is not on the list.
I looked a couple previous posts, peoples say that CFA doesn't need a study permit. I tried to contact CIC and they are always busy. Never have a chance to talk to them.
I'm wondering is anyone able to give me an answer?
