Study Permit Extention

Hello Friends,

I am currently studying in Canada and the course ending 17th April. However, My study permit is expiring on 31st March and I do not wish to extend my study but apply for PGWP after my studies. I am wondering if I have to apply for an extension since I will be applying for PGWP before the course is completed?!

How can you apply for a PGWP if your course isn’t completed. To complete the course, you must apply for an study permit extension.

Okay. My earlier understanding was to apply for PGWP before study permit is expired else I will be out of status. Thanks for the reply.
