Hey, so i recently lost my passport and that interfered with me extending my study permit, its been 90 days today and i was wondering if i can get any help with the extension. Im currently enrolled in the winter semester. Asking as an international student.

Has your study permit expired? When do you expect your new passport?

So you are waiting for your new passport? You are out of status and must stop studying. Once you have new passport, you restore your status to student and apply for new study permit. You cannot continue study (or work) until you have an approved study permit.

Absolutely agree as OP needs to discuss with advisor. Ask for an authorized leave because your PGWP also is at stake.

Its too late now but you should have applied anyway with pictures of the lost passport then started the procedure to get a replacement and informed IRCC of the loss, much more difficult to recover SP once out of status.
