Study permit extension

Hello,

I applied for my study permit extension on the 9th of June 2018 and till date I do not have any updates from the immigration. The site states that they are working on applications received on 29th June.They have not even started reviewing the eligibility. I am worried as my next semester starts in September. I know I can work but the college administrations says that if incase my application is refused they will not refund my fees. Whenever I call the immigration they never transfer to an agent.

Has anyone applied during that time and has had any response?

If you are not studying and have a valid visa you can't work unless you have another permit you have not specified.

No i dont have any other permit. My study permit has expired and I have applied for an extension however it has taken more than 2 months now.

whats ur province and college name and when does ur permit expire and how long was ur program. Please share it here. i might be able to help u out.

Are you still in Canada? You cannot work if you are not studying or have a work permit.

Hello. I got accepted by Conestoga college Kitchener, Montreal. I'm trying to process a study permit. I have since registered with the cic site and downloaded relevant imm forms as it relates to me. But I'm unable to fill as I can't add text in required field on the forms. I need help with this please

Im in ontario. College name is centennial and my permit has already expired. However i applied for the extension 1.5 months before the expiration date. My program is for 2 years.

currently they r processing files for 29th June. Wait for this month to end u should get an update soon.

I applied on the 9th of June. I hope they start reviewing the file soon.
