Hi. I have a question and I really need help at the moment. I applied for my study permit extension on January 2020 and today I received a letter of refusal because I haven't provided my current custodian declaration. They asked me to provide it so I'm wondering if I had to do it all over again or just attach an additional file and if I can attach a file, how can I do it? because I've tried so many times but I can't figure out a way to attach an additional file. Thank you and have a good day!

If you were refused, you must apply all over again.

If your study permit has expired, you are now out of status and must apply for Restoration; you cannot study or work until approved.

thank you! I'm wondering if I need to separate those applications or I can apply at once?

because there are 3 options in the Restoration form and 2 of them are: Restoration and Extend my study permit. So can i pick both of them or I can only choose ''Restore Status''?

One application, select both options.

I’m seeing lots of refusals these days, can you share your timeline? For example day of correspondence (biometrics) until final decision?

i did the ''biometrics'' in my country so i've never experienced it here but my case is quite confused because they hadn't asked me to provide my custodian declaration neither mentioned it in the application form so I didn't upload that file online. Moreover, they didn't even ask me to add any other additional file during the process and they came to final decision that my study permit was refused due to the lack of custodian declaration

hi there. i'm confused about ''proof of upfront medical exam' in supporting documents' and the ''schedule 1- application for a temporary resident visa made outside canada (IMM5257) in the optional documents. can you help me to find out what they are? thank you
