I applied for my study permit extension a month ago...a week after my application submission online ...i lost my passport...can anybody tell me will it affect my application processing...i contacted consultant they asked e to not to inform cic for lost passport...i got 2 update emails till now

please suggest something

I would assume everything should be fine as it is possible to have study permit from an old passport.

so once your study permit application is approved you will get a study permit which has your lost passport number. in the meantime you can apply at the embassy of your country for a new passport

Technically you do not need to submit a PP when applying for SP extension. But you must have a new PP.

yes i am going to apply for new passport this week ....just worried about visa extension
