Hi,
Here is my situation. I'm currently studying my undergrad at UBC with an expected graduation in May, 2019. I have been accepted to a masters program at another university in Ontario. The condition upon my acceptance is the completion of my current degree. My current study permit expires in July.
My question is can I apply now with the Masters LOA and a letter of expected completion from UBC. The letter explains that upon successful completion of current courses, I have met all requirements to graduate in May, 2019. Or, should I wait for my degree to be conferred and then apply with LOA and the (actual) letter of completion?
Also, what is your opinion on including a letter of explanation for my case? I've heard different opinions from advisors. Should I just let my application speak for itself?
Thank you in advance!
