Study permit extension application was withdrawn due to the DLI’s fault

Hi guys!

I recently applied for a study permit extension. While I was on maintained status, I received a letter from IRCC saying that my application had been withdrawn. The reason given was that my DLI did not complete the required verification within 10 days.

This was not my fault at all, but I have been negatively affected by it.

Now I have to apply for restoration of status. Has anyone in a similar situation received support from their school for the restoration fee, consultant or lawyer fees, or additional living costs?

This is an issue with the school and you have to reach an agreement. Was it Cape Breton? If you lost status then you cannot study.
