Hello All,

I’d like to share my good news and timeline for my case.
3-6: submitted my study permit
3-22: biometric completed
4-26: Case approved

Im currently H1B worker in US, and worked for almost 10years.
30+ Years old, and applied for master program in Canada in computer science.
My highest degree is bachelor got from USA university many years ago (10 years back)

Myself went through : F1 --> OPT --> H1B in US.

No health screening and criminal record has been requested.

I recently married ( a few months before i submit application) and my wife is on f1 opt status. I've also stated clearly in explanation letter that she will be travelling with me to Canada on Visitor visa (she has a valid Canada visitor visa)

Between 3/22 to 4/26, my application status is always “submitted”

And all in a sudden today it was updated to approved

Cheers.

Same here! Haven’t heard anything, send a couple webforms so I’m just patiently waiting! Good luck! Do you intend to drive or fly?

hello friends. Can anyone tell me that while having a permanent resident visa, one needs a study permit or not?
