I had been to canada in 2014 to pursue a program in marketing,i was 34 then, the college was George brown,i had to leave it half way and come back for personal reason.

I m trying to see if i can go back on a study permit and mailed them asking the same.I was told that they don't accept students with more than 5yrs study gap, which i found weird as i had more than 5yrs study gap in 2014 when they admitted me.

Is there any college in Canada that accepts students with a profile like mine? College offering program in sales and marketing.

Your help will be appreciated

Many colleges in Canada now do not accept such large gaps between programs because IRCC refuses the study permit based on the gap. You will need to research colleges to find out which ones you can get accepted to. Then convince IRCC in your SOP that you are a genuine student at 40. Look at MBA programs in marketing if you want a better chance.
