Study permit arrived late can I enroll in May instead of January

Hi guys I Applied for my student permit extension for a program starting in September, but because of the processing it came late and now there is a January intake and may, is it possible for me to enroll for May instead of January, because I have some travel plans. Please advice if anyone expirenced the same situation. I am already residing in Canada.

Yes, you can defer the college to May (Couple of my friends has also done it), but you can't legally work until your semester starts. If you have travel plans, ensure to get the TRV. Without TRV, you won't be able to re-enter into Canada.

hi..! :'( I ve applied for canadian student visa on 22nd september 2016 for january intake. Its been a long time since ive applied.I didnt get any response,I js want to make sure that... will this may give a bad decision for me in my visa. Thing i need to mention is ive got USA refusal. Can anyone know about how much time it will take...! And how many chances do i have in getting a positive response...!!
please help me as soon as possible

hi..! :'( I ve applied for canadian student visa on 22nd september 2016 for january intake. Its been a long time since ive applied.I didnt get any response,I js want to make sure that... will this may give a bad decision for me in my visa. Thing i need to mention is ive got USA refusal.
