Hi,
I have been accepted to study in Vancouver on exchange from my home university in Scotland. All I have to do is obtain a study permit. But I have a criminal record in the USA. I do not have any convictions I just had fines that I needed to pay for a non-violent offence. When I was before a judge she told me that the offence would be lifted from my record after 6 months of offence free behaviour. Can anyone tell me what the chances are that my application will be rejected?
