Hi there,
I would like to ask for some tips before submitting my family’s Study permit for Minor Child.

1. is there anything that I need to be remindful of on the application pdf forms? If I can do the “Validate” button, does it mean there should have no information missing? (As we don’t want it to be sent back with missing a tick or something minor)

2. Do I need to attach the payment of the tuition in the application?

3. What the upfront medical exam ready with the application form, how long does it usually take to get the visa?

4. Is Time Deposit saving acceptable to show the financial to cic?

5. does the minor who is under 14 when he/ she sends out the application need to do biometric? Or they will be asked for it as they get reached of 14 as the permit is approved?

Thank you so much for your help :)

1. Guardian forms, admission to secondary school
2. Yes
3. 12-14 from submission
4. If it funds can be taken out today, yes. If locked in, no. You want to show liquid funds.
4. If under 14, no. Will not need it if permit approved.

4. I would say, yes it can, but may get deducted of some interests as penalty
Do you think it would make sense as the proof of financial then?
Thanks Naturgrl

So you have paid first year tuition? And you can show the funds in the fixed deposits for upcoming years as well as $10k plus for living expenses. Assume this is for next fall since it is November.

Yes The tuition is paid already.
Yes we will be able to show.

Excuse me, would the minor need to take some photos and being sent by the photo studio to cic,
Or I can just scan it and upload it in the application? Thanks!

Don’t know about pictures. Assume minor’s parents are staying in home country to show ties to return.

When he went to the photo studio, the staff asked if they need them to send it out to Cic something like that… which I don’t get it o_Oo_Oo_O

* According to 1. , does it mean I have filled out everything without anything missing with the file being “ validate “?
