Hello....
I need urgent advice and your kind guide here. Recently applied for student permit for September in take, in my application, I applied as married without marriage supporting documents because we were yet to finalized the marriage arrangement, hoping to do court wedding then forward the document to the visa office. To my greatest surprise, the lady called off our relationship without reason, I am confused here, what should I do? do I report to the visa office?
I also wanted to submit a return affidavit to the visa office, do you think it is advisable at this point, what effect will this have on application???
Please, I need your kind advice...

Thanks in anticipation.
Nke.

I suggest you leave the application as it is, they may think its a mistake unless you explained. Its a fundamental document you omitted.

And you think it won't be a problem later on when applying for PR. And you also think CIC won't ask for marriage/divorce papers no matter if spouse is a part of PR application or not.

Obviously u did a big mistake..it will be considered lying and misrepresenting urself..if CIC finds out, and ofcoursr they r going to find out at some point, then u will be in trouble. Dont knw how u can rectify it..maybe withdraw ur app and submit again woth correct info with a letter explaining ehat went rong the last time u applied.

Hello,

The best solution for your situation is you provide this information to Canadian embassy, Yes there is an way for that Check it out: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

You need to select "Yes", then "Yes", then pick the visa office you applied in. Then fill the form and explain your situation and everything.

Best of luck for your application.
