I got my study permit renewed after I applied for a study permit extension in July. I noticed it stated 'unless authorized prohibited from working in Canada'. This was a change from my earlier study permit in the same university, which stated"may be eligible to work on or off campus if meets eligibility requirements.
After noticing this change,I sent my study permit to Ottawa for an amendment. When I enquired about the status, since the processing time of one month was coming to a close. I was told a correspondence letter has been sent to my mail. Anyone know if this is a bad or good sign. I sent my application by express post,so I'm really hoping to get it this week,so I can take up the employment offer I have received.
Is the correspondence letter a mere formality that will state my application has been approved or does it mean they are asking for additional documents, which means I have to wait another month for the amendment to be made?
