Hi guys,
I had a question about study permit extension. Current permit expires on 31th of May, 2017 and I need to get a new one. The reason is that I have fallen behind with my courses, by the end of April I will have 93 out 120 required credits complete. I also got into conditional standing this year, however, was in a Good Academig standing all previous years. I initially been studying Chemistry, but switched to Biochemistry later on, which is still a hard topic. Besides, I am an international student, which means I feel homesick time to time. In addition I have a good credit history and own an appartment in Montreal, where I live. To sum up: I need 2 more semesters to finish my degree ( Summer and next Fall ). What are my chances to get an extension considering everything said above?

Thank you so much in advance!

Provided you've been attending school with a full time course load and you can show you have the required funds to continue your studies - you shouldn't have any issues being approved for the extension.

Hi scylla,

Thank you for giving me hope:)
Yes, I have been a full time all the time, I was even taking several classes in the Summer, even though I am not required. As far as I know, I should attach my transcript with grades. Do I also need to provide some kind of explanation letter about my academic standing?

Thanks so much.
