If for a 6 year old, your child needs to gain admittance to a Canadian school (private or public) and pay international fees ($10k or more a year depending on if private or public). Your child needs a Canadian guardian who will look after you child on your behalf since you don’t come with them to live. You may be approved for a visitor visa to get your child settled but it doesn’t allow you to live or work in Canada. The Canadian guardian takes responsibility of your child. It is easier to do this through a private school that has boarding because then they sign off on the guardianship. Of course, then you are looking at over $25k per year minium for tuition and boarding.
