Study and Work Competency

Hi

I am from India and I have completed BTech electronics and communication engineering and Masters in Engineering in Embedded systems engineering but I am working in an IT company as Senior Systems engineer. My area of work is L1,L2 level Application support with Operations work in cloud.

My Question is

1) Will my express entry profile get rejected as my area of study and work are not technically related.

2) What is likely to be my NOC code, I googled a little and found 2282 and 2173 might be compatible considering my work and studies.Can anyone help me to decide.

1) I don’t think it will get rejected. anyway it’s not like you studied engineering and working as a physician now. There is enough relevancy. So you shouldn’t have to worry.

2) you should figure out your NOC by yourself. Something terribly wrong if you need someone to tell you what your NOC should be.
