Hello everyone!

I am seeking advice on my situation and will highly appreciate any suggestions.
I am currently studying in Canada and got my ITA recently through Express Entry. I have submitted my application and just waiting for a decision. Since I am international student, I will have to pay quite high tuition fees in May in order to start new semester. My goal is to avoid them and to return studying as a PR holder with lower tuition. Considering that EE applications get processed on average in 3-4 months, what would you suggest me to do? I thought about just not paying tuition in May and staying in Canada for 90 days (on 90th day without studies, student visa gets canceled as far as I understand), while waiting for PR. I can for sure go to my home country and than return, but I am afraid that relocation will be more expensive then just staying in Canada.

Thanks in advance.

Can you delay tuition payment?

I know that for some schools, there is a tuition reassessment for students who have paid their fees but become PRs along the way. So you might want to confirm with your school if they offer that.

Also, when is the deadline to pay your fees? If not until April/May, I'd suggest you hold off on paying it because some PR applications get approved within 3 months. Who knows, you might just be one of the lucky ones.
