I came to know from my friend he knows someone who got study visa after showing 3 to 4 years of freelance experience to fill the employment gap few years ago. Somehow he managed payslip, other letters of that period.On the other side i know someone who is genuine student but her visa got rejected with reason that she wont leave canada.
I think they should really check this freelance experience authenticity before giving visa to such people. Hopefully these people will get caught during pgwp or pr process and genuine students will get visa.
