Hello everybody,

In May 2016 I got my visa for Canada and I went to the college for one semester. After that unfortunately I had some personal issue and I got to came back home. Now it's passed 1 year that I never go back to Canada.
I wonder if I want to go again to the same college that I've been a year ago and since my study visa is still valid until may 2018, can I go without facing any problems with the immigration office ?
And after that if I'll still want to study ahead, will I be able to extend my student visa without any problem ?

Thanks.

As far as I know , 90 days after you stopped studying, your study permit loses the validity. If you want to resume, you have to start afresh. Get acceptance/ continuation letter, reapply for study permit explaining your history.

given you dropped out after one semester your college if they followed the guidelines should have reported you and your study permit would have been cancelled. You will need to assume having to reapply for a new study permit.

Oh.
But would that be a problem ? To reapply the visa for study ?

It all depends on how your profile is looking now... and having really good reason for you to leave Canada...
