Student Visa with Spouse

Hello!!

My wife wants to apply for student visa for Canada. Is it possible if I apply SOWP once she gets the study visa and we fly together? Or she needs to be there and then I can apply for SOWP. What is process and what if we want to go together?
How much time does it take and what are the documents needed for the same.

Yes it may be possible but spouses of international students are not guaranteed visas or permits.
