Student Visa Under SPP Rejected Applying for General.. Help !!!

Hi guys,

Its Tapan from Gujarat. My students visa under spp is rejected on 22-10-2013. I'm planning to re apply under general category. Please advise is it a good idea? Do you know anyone who got visa in general after rejection in spp?

Rejection reason was course mis match.

My profile:

10th - 72%
12th -48% (Biology)
B.sc. - 62% (Zoology) (2011)

IELTS - 7.5 (L 8, R 8, S 8, W 5.5)

GIC and First sem fees paid.

After graduation working with Bank of Baroda. So I'm looking forward to excel in this field.
Applied for MBA - Finance & Banking in Lambton College.

Do I need to change or add anything ??

sorry to hear that.
My visa was rejected for the September intake. Now going to apply under University category.

But regarding your case. I think you made a mistake of only paying the 1st semester fees. As far I can remember you have to pay the 1st years fees ( 2 semester ) and show proof that you did.

Ppl got visa in their 3rd or sometimes 4th attemp as well..
depend on how bad u want this..

keep trying..
be positive..

Thanks for replying guys .. Sweetalker you're generating positive vibes dude.. As far as I know only 1st sem fees payments is okay .. I guess .. The issue is with course I think .. I'm applying tomorrow in general category .. Will get visa by diwali maybe .. Fingers crossed ..

Oh sorry.

I just checked. For general category it is ok to pay the 1st semester fees.

What did you do for UG tho?

even my visa was rejected for the reason that "my course made no sense".
but it made perfect sense lol.

what the difference between general category and SPP ?

when is required to pay the first year fees and the first semester ?

what does GIC, GHC ?

umm now that is completely irrelevant from what you had studied and what you are working in.

Though you have work experience as you say from Bank of Borada.
Did you provide work experience letter from Bank of Borada when you applied under SPP? If yes, then you probably need to straighten out a bit more in your SOP of why you had completely changed the tine of work from what you had studied.

Zat .. I've very much cleared it in sop bro .. As my mom wanted me to follow family tradition of becoming doctor, I took that field .. Now I am submitting letter of justification with application ..

@swapy .. Check again dear .. Lambton do offer mba .. Both general and specialization on Toronto, sernia and Saskatchewan campuses ..

its not MBA. its a post grad certificate/diploma.. none of the college in canada offer MBA. onli universities offer mba
