Hi,

I have a scenario I would like to have an opinion on that.

- Can someone on a student visa have her husband accompanying her?
- On what ground\visa would the husband will be coming?
- If they will be applying for a work permit after the course, how is it done?
- Lastly to get the PR what are the requirements?

Thanks

Re: Student Visa

- The husband can apply to accompany. There is no guarantee CIC will approved the husband to come to Canada. Some people are approved and some are refused.
- Either a visitor visa or an open work permit.

- Canada has a number of different immigration program. You can find information about these programs here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

Re: Student Visa

Hi,

Let's say the wife gets the work permit upon completion of the course.

Will the husband still be allowed to stay in Canada? If yes on what criteria?
To switch from work permit to PR, can anyone tell me what are the requirements?

thanks
